Accessibility

Engram is built so that people with disabilities can use it, too. That includes this marketing site and the product itself.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is the standard most US courts and the EU European Accessibility Act treat as the baseline. We are not yet certified; we audit as we build and fix what we find.

What we already do

  • Semantic HTML — headings, lists, landmarks, and ARIA where it adds meaning, not as decoration.
  • Keyboard navigation across every interactive element.
  • Focus rings on all buttons, links, and form fields.
  • Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA in both light and dark modes.
  • Alt text on meaningful images; aria-hidden on decorative ones.
  • No reliance on color alone to convey meaning.
  • Forms with associated labels and clear error messages.

Known gaps

We track open accessibility issues on GitHub. If you find something that isn't already filed, please tell us (see contact below) — it's the fastest way to get it fixed.

Tell us

If any part of Engram is hard to use because of an accessibility issue — keyboard traps, screen-reader glitches, contrast problems, anything — email support@engram.page with the subject line "Accessibility." Tell us what you were trying to do, what got in the way, and what assistive technology you were using if relevant. We treat accessibility reports as priority bugs.
