Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of Engram subscriptions made through our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle is the legal seller of the Service for purposes of consumer-protection and tax law and is responsible for issuing the refund payment on our behalf. This Policy is part of our Terms of Service.
14-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with Engram for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. No questions asked.
This applies to:
- Your first monthly subscription payment;
- Your first annual subscription payment;
- A plan upgrade, if requested within 14 days of the upgrade charge.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. If the original method is no longer available (closed card, changed account), contact us and we will coordinate with Paddle on an alternative.
For consumers in the EU, UK, and EEA
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or the European Economic Area, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This right exists independently of our 14-day money-back guarantee above and applies whether or not you have used the Service.
Digital-content waiver. Engram is supplied as digital content. If you begin using the Service within the 14-day withdrawal period, you may be asked at checkout to expressly consent to immediate performance and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once performance begins (Art. 16(m) of the Directive). The waiver is only effective where (i) you give that express consent, (ii) you acknowledge loss of the withdrawal right, and (iii) Paddle provides a written confirmation of those facts at or promptly after checkout (Art. 7(2) / Art. 8(7)). If you provide that consent, you forfeit the statutory withdrawal right but retain our 14-day money-back guarantee on the same terms as every other customer.
To exercise the statutory right of withdrawal, email support@engram.page within 14 days of your purchase with the subject line "Withdrawal." No form or reason required.
Renewals
Refunds for renewal charges (the second and subsequent billing periods) are evaluated case by case. We will generally refund a renewal if you contact us within 7 days of the renewal date and have not made meaningful use of the Service during the renewed period.
To avoid renewal charges, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings at
app.engram.page
— no phone call or email required. Cancellation takes effect
at the end of the current billing period and you retain
access until then.
How to request a refund
Email support@engram.page from the email address on your Engram account. Include:
- The Paddle order ID or receipt number, if you have it;
- The approximate date of the charge;
- A short note (optional — feedback helps us improve, but is not required).
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Most issues — accidental purchases, duplicate charges, billing questions — can be resolved faster by email. Where chargebacks are filed without first contacting us, we may pause your account pending review. Accounts identified as engaging in fraud or abuse may be suspended pending investigation.
Non-refundable items
The following are not eligible for refund:
- Subscriptions where the account has been terminated for material violation of our Terms of Service;
- Charges older than the windows described above, except where required by law.
Paddle's own Buyer Terms may grant refund rights independent of this Policy. Where Paddle's Buyer Terms are more generous than this Policy, those rights apply.
Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country or state of residence.
