Browser
The web app’s left pane is your folder browser. It mirrors what you’d see in Obsidian’s file explorer — same tree, same notes.
Layout
Section titled “Layout”- Left pane — folder tree, expand/collapse
- Center pane — open note (Preview / Edit tabs)
- Right pane — table of contents (auto-populated from the current note’s headings up to H4, visible in Preview mode)
The pane sizes are draggable. Drag the divider to resize.
Opening a note
Section titled “Opening a note”Click a note in the tree to open it. The note opens in Preview mode by default. Use the Preview / Edit tabs at the top of the note to switch into editing.
Right sidebar (table of contents)
Section titled “Right sidebar (table of contents)”When a note is open and you’re in Preview mode, the right pane shows the note’s heading hierarchy. Click a heading to jump to it. The ToC hides automatically while you’re in Edit mode.
Backlinks, metadata, and outline filtering aren’t shipped yet — they’re tracked on the roadmap.
Mobile layout
Section titled “Mobile layout”On narrow viewports the left pane collapses into a hamburger menu. The right pane stacks under the note rather than alongside.
